Pick up the html code that you want to embed into your blog. Go to the design page...start a new gadget...pick the option 'html'. Paste the html into that box and away you go
Thanks Sarah, I have already tried this - Design > Add a Gadget link opens up a list of blogger gadgets available, no HTML code in this new pop up window.
Hi Jan, When I go to Design > Add a Gadget the basic list of gadgets pops up. From top down it goes Pages Followers Search Box HTML/JavaScript
The last one is the one you want to select. You can also use the 'Search for Gadgets' field at the top of the 'Add a Gadget' link and type in 'HTML' and the second gadget to show up should be 'HTML/Javascript'.
If none of this works, it may be that your blog theme prevents you from adding this gadget, in which case you can try out a new theme.
